All models come with standard 4x4, while the Badlands® is equipped with advanced 4x4 with twin-clutch rear-drive unit for added capability. Standard across the entire lineup, 4x4* disperses power to all four wheels to help add traction and minimize wheel slip on loose gravel. The twin-clutch rear-drive unit can send torque to a single rear wheel even when the other three wheels have no traction.* It can divert virtually all rear axle torque to either rear wheel. It works with the vehicle’s selectable G.O.A.T. Modes® (Goes Over Any Type of Terrain). Adjust your drive mode to match the environment. Bronco® Sport standard G.O.A.T. Modes® features five adjustments: Sand, Slippery, Sport, Eco and Normal. The ever-capable Bronco® Sport Badlands® comes with two additional modes: Mud/Ruts and Rock Crawl. At the heart of the Big Bend®, Heritage, Bronco® Sport Free Wheeling™ and Outer Banks® models, the 1.5L EcoBoost® engine boasts 181 horsepower and 190 lb.-ft. of torque.
